I am a doctoral student at UNL in the Biopsychology program. I am currently studying whether birds have Theory of Mind, which is the ability that humans use to infer that others have different thoughts, perceptions, and emotions than they do. In my spare time, I am a pretty awesome drummer (currently bandless, but have recorded a couple albums over the last few years!)
I got started cycling because parking on campus is super expensive. And then my car died and I was left with nothing but my bike for transportation. Eventually I realized that cycling is super fun recreationally!
The most appealing thing about cyclocross is the challenge. I always like trying new random sports and this one seems like a great opportunity to improve my cycling skills.
